One City One Number
HELP DESK (ONE CITY ONE NUMBER)
One City-One Number is proposed as a unified ICT enabled telephonic helpline facility for Davanagere that will act as an interface between citizens and City Authorities to enable effective telephonic interaction.
An IVRS based call center backed 11-digit unique number for citizens to access and communicate with any Government Official gets required information, register and track complaints. The aim to setup a centralized call center for the Davanagere city is to meet the requirement of information dissemination and grievance handing to cater to the needs of people. One City-One Number aims to provide all the services in 24×7 fashion. The calls will be answered by multi lingual Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), and will be forwarded to operators on need basis, who will be experienced and skilled operators. In addition to general enquiry, One City-One Number will also accept complaints and grievances. The helpline operators will be stationed at the proposed Command & Control facility in Davanagere.
