Terms and Conditions – DVG Help App
Effective Date: 08 December 2023
By downloading or using the DVG Help app, these terms will automatically apply to you. Please ensure that you read them carefully before using the app. You are not allowed to copy, modify, or translate the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You are also not permitted to attempt to extract the source code of the app or to create any derivative versions. The app itself, along with all the trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, remains the property of Davanagere Smart City Limited (DSCL).
Davanagere Smart City Limited is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. Therefore, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. However, we will never charge you for the app or its services without clearly stating what you are paying for.
The DVG Help app may request access to your device’s location in order to collect geo-coordinates (latitude and longitude). This helps the app to function in context with your current location. By allowing location access, you consent to the collection and use of this information as per this Terms and Conditions document.
The app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us in order to provide our services. It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. For this reason, we recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which involves removing software restrictions imposed by the official operating system. Doing so could make your phone vulnerable to malware or viruses and may prevent the DVG Help app from working properly or at all.

You should be aware that certain functions of the app require an active internet connection. This connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. Davanagere Smart City Limited cannot take responsibility if the app does not function at full capacity due to lack of Wi-Fi access or exhausted mobile data.
If you use the app outside an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that the terms of your mobile provider still apply. You may be charged by your mobile provider for data usage while accessing the app, including roaming data charges if used outside your home territory. By using the app, you accept responsibility for such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have obtained permission from the bill payer before using the app.
Davanagere Smart City Limited cannot be held responsible for how you use the app. You are responsible for keeping your device charged and functional. If your device runs out of battery or becomes inoperable, we are not liable for any interruption in service.
While we strive to ensure that the app is always updated and accurate, Davanagere Smart City Limited relies on third-party sources for information. We cannot accept liability for any direct or indirect loss resulting from reliance on the app’s data or features.
At times, we may update the app to improve performance or compatibility. The app is currently available on Android and iOS. System requirements may change, and you may need to download updates to continue using the app. Davanagere Smart City Limited does not guarantee ongoing support for all device versions. You agree to accept updates when offered. We may also choose to discontinue the app at any time without prior notice. Upon such termination, your right to use the app will end, and you must delete it from your device.
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on this page.
